So, what is the Cosmic Combination exactly?
Well, simply said: just a bunch of friends organizing Psychedelic Trance (Psytrance/ Goatrance) parties in and around Leiden, The Netherlands!
In other words: The most important thing on our events is the atmosphere! We put most efforts in creating positive vibes, in all sorts of ways. We believe that decoration is very important for the complete psychedelic experience, that’s why we try to do something different every single gig! We had artists like Felix, Fluorobotanics and NOS on our parties, but we also have our own deco team!
We also believe in keeping the threshold of the events as low as possible. Nice venues (friendly security) and we keep the entrance fee as low as possible! The Cosmic Combination is completely non-profit! None of the members get any money for their work! Our goal is to cover the costs, and any profit we make on a single party will float back (one way or the other) to one of the next upcoming Cosmic Combination events. For example: at least ones every year we try to throw a big gig with a live act. Till now we had Protoculture, Triptych, Bitkit and Dark Soho!
Besides the live acts we also have our resident dj’s, mostly crew members. On every party we’re looking for dj’s to play together with the resident dj’s. If you think you can add something to out parties, contact us via the
contact form on this site. You’ll get travel expenses, some drink vouchers and a great evening with a lot of friendly people! Please remember: we would like to hear an promo (preferably downloadable) and prefer dj’s residing in the Netherlands (sometimes we invite Belgian of German dj’s).
We are always looking for new venues! If you manage or know a venue which meets one of the following requirements, please
contact us. We are looking for venues who: don’t close at 5:00, but 7:00 AM or later - with a capacity of 300+ in the center of a town – an open air location, suitable for an open air party!
Crew members
All the Cosmic Combination events can happen because of the work of these crew members and volunteers! Jan-Jaap (Jay) and Joost (Tz'unun) are chill-djs and Joost usually takes care of the chill-out in general (if available). Floor (Yucka) and Rob (Bor) are the resident trance-dj's and together with Jan-Jaap they do the most organizational tasks. Rob does most of the flyer- and webdesign, together with Jan-Jaap they are taking care of the finances. Jan-Jaap is also our resident photographer. Sander (Xebeche) is one of the crew members as well, as dj Xebeche he plays progressive tunes.

Cosmic friends
All the crew members put their heart and energy in the Cosmic Combination parties! But we also have some dear friends helping us out in all sorts of ways. You can find them here.
Wiebe is one of the Cosmic founders, he doesn't have the time to be fully dedicated anymore, but he is still helping us out! Together with Romana he runs the famous Chaibar in the Chill. Thanks! Liesbeth and Eline are always loyal when it comes to setting up the gig or cleaning the mess afterwards. Not always a fun job: thumbs up! Liesbeth is also one of the resident members of the deco crew! Esta (Polyesta) is one of our resident chill-dj's, and we're proud to that! Our old friend Ruben is not that active on the Cosmic parties anymore, but always present there when you need him! And as Psylover he's a great vj!
