The "Piratenbar" or "El lokal Pirata" is situated in the "Vloek van Scheveningen squat" in Scheveningen, The Hague. You can come by public transport, tram 17 stops close to the venue, or by car. There are enough parking spaces in the street, and it’s pretty straight forward to find. On the map below you will find a route from the the tram stop, or a route when you come by car.

Route description from The Hague Station (CS and HS): See green line on the map
Please note: The route below assumes you travel with tram 17. This tram line wil operate till 1:30, after that a nightbus (N1) will take over for the rest of the night! For more info, check the HTM site: www.htm.nl or www.9292ov.nl.
From both stations, take tram 17 in the direction of “Statenkwartier”
Get out at the last stop: “Van Boetzelaerlaan”
Walk in the direction of the “Westduinweg”, so in the direction of the BP gas station
Go to the left, on the “Westduinweg”
When you see the canal, go to the right in the “Kranenburgweg”
Right before the gates of the former Norfolk Line, go to the right in the “Hellingweg”
The El Lokal Pirata is after a few hundred meters on the left.
Route description by car: See red line on the map
Take the A12 (Utrechtse Baan) to The Hague Center (Den Haag Centrum)
At the end, take the traffic lights to the left
Next traffic lights, take right onto the “Koningskade”
The “Koningskade” will go over into the “Raamweg”
From the Raamweg, take the right onto the “Hubertusviaduct” (Fly-over) in the direction of the harbour (Scheveningen Haven)
Keep on follow this road, until it becomes the “President Kennedylaan”
At the cross point between the “President Kennedylaan” and the “Houtrustweg” (after the canal) go to the right onto the “Houtrustweg”
At the cross point with the "Westduinweg", go to the right,, and go directly to the left onto the “Kranenburgerweg”
Right before the gates of the former Norfolk Line, go to the right in the “Hellingweg”
The El Lokal Pirata is after a few hundred meters on the left.
